The Wisconsin Voters for Companion Animals 2010 Election Questionnaire 

We realize the limitations of judging legislators based on a few votes and co-sponsorships, therefore we are sending questionnaires to all current legislators and candidates to survey their stance on companion animal issues which have already passed in other states.

 

The invitation sent to legislators and candidates to take the questionnaire contains the following:

"Companion animals play an important role in the lives of many Wisconsin citizens and we look to the government to protect animals from inhumane treatment.  Therefore, humane-minded citizens care deeply about the positions their elected officials take on animal protection issues.  Wisconsin Voters for Companion Animals appreciates your input on this 2010 State Candidate Questionnaire. We will be compiling the results and making it available along with the voting records of incumbents on our website.  Our goal is to help voters make informed decisions in the polling booth this November."

 

Please reply to this short questionnaire promptly.  If we have not received a response by August 15, 2010, we will note "did not respond" next to your name on our website.
